Rain confesses, "I have let go of MBLAQ"

Rain talks about idol group MBLAQ whom he had personally groomed for singer debut.
Rain was on MBC Golden Fishery aired on 9th June when he talks about why he no longer interferes with what idol group MBLAQ do.

He said, “For an idol group, I expected them to be charismatic. I tried to restrain them, but seeing them on variety shows, they are just so funny. So in such a case, I thought they still will receive love from the masses anyway, so I just let them off.”

Rain also talked about his mentor Park JinYoung on the show, “He is really tight. He was a hysteria. Jinyoungie hyung had been strict with me, like commanding ‘Don’t be funny with me’.”

Rain added, “He also told me not to get out of the car. In this way, I can be seen with the charismatic mysterious concept. There are times when I groom MBLAQ, I wasn’t like what I think. And during these times, I thought to myself ‘What a wonderful student I am’.”

World star Rain reveals an episode where he had met with top star Tom Cruise.

Rain was recently on SBS Strong Heart where he revealed, “I was in the middle of a meeting when I was in the States, I was told someone wanted to meet me.”

He then continued, “I was curious who it may be, who would have come directly to where my room is and wanted to see me. And it turned out to be Tom Cruise. He said he was happy to see me. Honestly it was like a dream.”

But he added, “Thinking about saying goodbye to Tom Cruise, I felt that it was a shame/sad.”

Rain also talked about the hardwork he went through for his Hollywood debut.

Meanwhile, the show will be aired at 11.05pm on 11th May.

Rain wins 2 consecutive weeks in Music Bank!

Singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) with his title song "love song" has won the music bank mutizen last week making it his 2nd consecutive win in KBS 2TV Music Bank.

Rain's special mini album title song "Love Song" climbed the top of the k-chart on April 23. Rain also won the k-chart the week ago last April 16.

Due to the naval sinking incident, Music Bank has been cancelled for 4 weeks in a row
but on the 26th they crew made the announcement public on their bulletin on who won last week's k-chart.
