Nichkhun-Victoria on "WGM," Netizens say, "We are opposed to this marriage!"

2PM Nichkhun and f(x) Victoria have become a new couple on the MBC real variety show 'We Got Married."

Although they have not yet been on an episode, they have finished their first filming. Fans have not had only-complimentary things to say about their pairing.

In the past, there were also many people who opposed SNSD Seohyun and CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa's pairing on 'WGM.' When SG Wannabe's Kim Yongjun was paired with Hwang Jung Eum; 2AM's Jo Kwon with BEG's Ga In; and Lee Sunho with Hwang Woo Seul Hye, though there may have been people who didn't care, there were few who opposed these pairings. It was only with Seohyun and Jung Yong Hwa's pairing that voices of opposition were heard.

It is obvious that when current 'hot' idols enjoy the married life, it becomes a hot topic. The premise is called 'real;' it is the 'marriage' that stimulates the fantasy.

Nowadays, idols cannot even appear on entertainment shows properly. First-generation idols from the past (HOT, Sechs Kies, SES, FinKL) used the strategy of mystery. When they were asked about who they were dating, they would reply, "My fans are my boy/girlfriends," and even if they were dating, they would wave their hands and say, "Absolutely not," and lie.

Idols these days have changed greatly from the past. If idols from the past wavered on the boundary between humans and gods, nowadays fans feel a bit closer to their idols, as if he's the good looking oppa from school.

Even so, it is dangerous to talk about idols dating. This is because fans don't want the celebrities they like to be close to any one person. What's worse, companies lay down a rule of 'No dating' for their celebrities.

2PM Nichkhun's fans call him 'Angel Nichkhun.' His white skin, cute face, and bright smile have received a lot of love from fans. As one might notice, the nickname 'Angel Nichkhun' has a more significant meaning for Nichkhun's fans than simply 'a good looking celebrity.'

It is therefore obvious that fans would not like the news that Nichkhun is getting married (even if it may be a fake marriage). On top of that, on June 7th Nichkhun left a comment on U-Kiss' Alexander's Twitter picture from SBS entertainment program 'Star King' saying, "My wife!" showing his affection for Victoria.

That he was able to pick out Victoria in the picture even though only her back was showing made fans especially sad, and they made their disappointment heard.

Nichkhun and Victoria's married life hasn't even officially begun. But fans are already shouting, "We are opposed to this marriage!" "Nichkhun, I'm begging you," showing their strong disapproval.

It will be interesting to see how fan's reactions may change once their married life hits airwaves.

Junho receives love calls from After School

Girl group After School, currently earning popularity with their song 'Bang!' has opened a couple battle on Dream Team 2.

On KBS 2TV's 'Dream Team 2,' an episode aired on the 9th featured a 'couple dream team' consisting of Minho, Eunhyuk, Junho, Danny An, Ko Juwon, Chun Myunghoon and the members of After School.

The person with the highest number in their pedometer was able to choose a male member as their partner. The After School members danced in order to choose the male partner of their choice.

With their power dance and choreography, the man that the sexy girl group chose as their favorite was none other than 2PM's Lee Junho. Junho was unable to hide his happiness, stating, "I never thought a day like this would come for me."

Member Jooyeon chose Chun Myunghoon for the reason of, "He seems the most safe." However, she lost to Nana, who took first place, and lost her partner. Also, after Danny An showed off his personal talents, Gahee left Junho for Danny An. Jo Kuwon shouted, "We are rejecting you!" but was eventually chosen by Gahee in the second round much to Danny An's dismay.

Bekah also showed interest in Danny An's personal talent but eventually chose Junho. Eunhyuk was chosen by Reina.

The final couple dream team was Nana & Chun Myunghoon, Junho & Bekah, Jungah & Minho, Gahee & Ko Juwon, and Jooyeon & Danny An.

Lizzy and Uee were not present.

Who is Next for JYP Entertainment?

JYP Entertainment is on the hunt again! Even though they’ve already got their hands full with preparations for the Wonder Girls’ debut American album and promotions for 2PM’s Don’t Stop Can’t Stop, the entertainment company is still looking out for possible new idols. They recently updated their website with a dark-themed background displaying a silhouette of a dancer to attract possible trainees, with the following words written in large, bold type: “Who is Next?”

Many netizens, instead of hoping to become Korea’s next star, have begun to discuss the identity of the dancer. Due to his hairstyle and pose, fans have hypothesized that the silhouette belongs to ex-2PM member, Jay Park. In fact, these people are more than confident that the outline is in fact, of Jay; several visitors have commented on the advertisement, saying things such as “Yah! That’s Jay!” “Daebak, they used Jay again?”

This announcement has begun to attract negative attention, as netizens, still enraged over JYPE’s alleged mistreatment of one of Korea’s most popular singer, claimed that the company has no right to use such a photo. Visitors have made comments such as:

“‘Who is next’ to get the Jay treatment?”
“JYPE cannot live without Jay.”
“This seems more like a threat than an invitation.”
“All the Jay pictures in the world [are] not going to get people to audition.”
“Who is next to be jype’s new money maker and have their reputation destroyed?”
“The next one up is Sunmi.”

Others, however, seem to see this as merely a way for JYPE to garner more attention. Some have labeled this picture as a “total media play to grab more attention,” and have disregarded it in an attempt to rebel against what they believe are JYPE’s wishes. Regardless of such comments, the advertisement certainly is grabbing netizens’ attentions!

So what do you think? Jay or not Jay? Attention-grabbing marketing ploy, or simply a reckless oversight in advertisement?

Taec & Junho astonished over Tiffany's face

Idol group SNSD's Tiffany revealed her no make up face for the first time on broadcast.

Set to air on the 9th, Family Outing 2's 'Close Friend' special episode had Tiffany receive the invite from Taecyeon as his 'close friend guest.'

According to FO2 producers, the family members showed an explosive response to Tiffany's no make up look. Having already seen the make up less faces of the other family members, Tiffany's no make up face became the exception.

The producers stated, "Having always seen Tiffany with a lot of dark make up, 2PM members Taecyeon and Junho were especially astonished at her make up less face."

Hip hop group Leessang's Gil also gave a 'special face washing' tutorial, creating much laughter.

Wooyoung is a brilliant MC, destined for great things

2PM Wooyoung, a genius in the making

Whether it's in education or music, or even an art practical exam, those that win first place know the feeling. It's easy to take first but it's hard to protect the spot. That's why being in first place is a fight against yourself. But this isn't just a story to the valedictorians of high schools, it's the same for celebrities. There's always a saying that follows celebrities wherever they go: "You might be at the top now but prepare your heart to drop at any minute."

However, there's a group that has surpassed all of the big name comeback stars and won first place for two weeks in a row. It's beastly idols 2PM. How are they now? Not only songs, but with the members' personal skills and talents, acting, varieties, MC'ing... They have been showing off their various talents in every area of their industry.

But there's one member that catches your eye, and he's none other than Wooyoung. They say that a true genius displays itself in its youth. 2PM is the beastly idol, loved by all. Called oppa to their younger fans and dongseng to their older, nuna fans. On stage, they run, drop, rip, and scream. A response like, 'wow, cool,' is automatic. But why am I comparing them to the youth? It's because he's still a rookie MC.

It's been barely three months since Wooyoung began MCing on 'Win Win.' But, already in the first episode, he was able to display his exceptional talent as an MC, variety idol, and MC idol. It's amazing how he was able to show all of that on the first MC show of his life.

Looking at past experiences, celebrities that first walk the path of an MC usually read straight off of the script because an MCing position is not something that is just easily overlooked. The nation is watching on without even a blink of their eyes.

Putting the viewers on the back burner for a second, what's the reality of Wooyoung's situation? There's at least 7-8 cameras in his along with a PD with a hard stare. There's writers, the audio team, light team, the audience, the onlooking manager along with the coordis. There's at least 100 people crowding around inside the recording studio. Everyone is staring at the MC on stage and so it is only definite for him to be nervous and shaky on his first day as an MC.

But how was Wooyoung! As I watched Wooyoung act as an MC on 'Win Win,' I slapped my knee. 'Aha, he is a capable MC!' Especially in the first episode, Wooyoung and Kim Seungwoo exxchanged short little conversations. As Kim Seungwoo was about to bunch his shoulders, Wooyoung sensibly adlibbed and stated, 'Next week!'

Even the producers on set claim that they were shocked at Wooyoung's quick reactions. As I was watching the broadcast, I felt a light bulb coming on in my head. It felt as if I had discovered something new. Wooyoung continued his adlibs on air, week by week. Maybe, but is that why? 'Win Win' has a lot of different points worth watching, but I find myself looking forward to Wooyoung especially, often wondering to myself, 'How will Wooyoung be today?' And week after week, Wooyoung has never disappointed me.

Borrowing a few of the words from the 'Win Win' producers, they say that the situation in the waiting room is as you see it. Wooyoung does a complete 90 degree bow to the senior MCs. And instead of excusing himself with, "It's because I'm a rookie MC..." he acts confidently with the mindset of wanting to work harder and not be overshadowed by others (This isn't him being cocky, but confident). So this is why I think he's able to be an MC without being intimidated by other things.

MC 'Wooyoung' has been included into my list of variety program MCs. But, what I feel automatically, is that Wooyoung will become something greater... is what I feel... but, whether that's true or not, we'll have to see.
